When that evil Mr. Charles informed her that he would be the one to procure Mr. Jones property, Ginny knew she had to attempt whatever she could to get away from him. Granny was on her last leg so to speak, and she just did not perceive any other way to care for them!
Not to mention, she had no desire to live on the streets as many of the other girls did, or be a slave to that foul Mr. Charles. Therefore, when Madame Soleil solicited her to please just this one customer, she swallowed her pride, and said yes….
