Author Alexandria Infante

This is the Teaching between Midnight and Dawn Series

So,

I promised reviews, so now you have them. Over the Thanksgiving holiday, I had some time to read some interesting reads, and I truly enjoyed myself with many of them. I’m only doing five today, them I’ll hit the next five next Friday.

Drum Roll Please……….

The first is Dark Wolf Rising by Meg Harris

dark wolf risingBlurb: Eric Drake, a powerful Dark Wolf, has never trusted himself around human females—preferring to mate only within his pack. That is, until he encounters Chelsea Smart snooping around Silvercrest pack land in search of her missing sister. Secretly, Chelsea thinks Eric is the sexiest man she’s ever seen, though she is wary of his potent Alpha energy. Then it’s discovered that Chelsea’s sister is being held by a pack of vicious Lycans, and Eric heroically leaps into action. Now, Chelsea will risk everything—her body and soul—to surrender to the passion that will mark her as Eric’s woman for all eternity…if they survive.

This lil diddy was cool to read. Although I am sooo not a fan of Harlequin anything, this was a good read. liked the tension between Eric and Chelsea, but at times I wanted to slap the crap out of Chelsea. She was head strong, but very naive at the same time. Good read

Dark Season by Amy Cross

dark season Blurb: When Sophie Hart is rescued from a mugging by a mysterious, silent vampire, she discovers that she is part of a dark prophecy. Patrick is the last vampire on Earth, having killed the rest of his species at the end of a bloody war, and he has plans for Sophie. But will she survive?

Very good read, I’m just upset at the end. I didn’t like the abruptness of the ending. I can’t wait for book 2, but I’m still annoyed with how it ended. I don’t usually read books where the characters are in their early 20s, but this was a good book, and I will be downloading the 2nd book for Black Friday lol.

Vampire Vacation: Just One Taste by Cj Ellisson

just one tasteBlurb: Meet Vivian. She’s a 580-year-old vampire who exudes sex, has a talent for drama, and is passionate about two things: her human husband, Rafe, and their resort for the undead. Her ability to project physical illusions has created the perfect vacation spot — a dark, isolated Alaskan hideaway where visitors can have their wildest fantasies come true. Vivian knows the best performance requires perfect timing, but the powerful vamp is put to the test when she discovers a corpse in a locked guestroom minutes before the next arrivals. Always cool-headed, Rafe hides the body, convinced he and Vivian can find the culprit without disturbing their guests. Juggling the increasingly outrageous demands of their customers while tracking a killer isn’t easy. Will their poking and prodding give them the answers they need, or will it uncover secrets Vivian would kill to protect?

So this book was good too. I noticed that the author changed the cover and title, so I was confused for a bit, and had to literally go search my kindle for it again to make sure that I had the right information. I liked what I read, but unfortunately it was passed off as a free excerpt, but amazon gives the impression that its the whole book for free. I haven’t downloaded the second part, because although I liked the characters, I’m really not expecting myself to buy the next installment. Don’t get me wrong, it was a very interesting story, it just didn’t pull me like I expected it to.

  Midnight Fire by Melody Anne

midnight fireBlurb: Phoenix Light’s world collapses around her when her dad rushes in the house and switches on the television to see enemy soldiers are taking over their world. Luckily, her father knew an attack was imminent and he built a vast shelter in the mountains for their family, and thousands of others. What the people on earth don’t know is the war is much more than a human take-over. The forces of good and evil are battling and the humans are their pawns. Jayden, A Dark Angel, is a servant of Vyco and sent in to lead the survivors to their death, but the first person he meets is Phoenix and he finds he can’t destroy her. Jayden and Phoenix fall in love in spite of the battles around them and lean on their friends and family along the way. Jayden has to make the decision to choose good or evil. Will Phoenix stay human, or become immortal and join Jayden? Can she give up her friends and family? Will she have to choose?

I kinda wasn’t feeling this one.

I’m not really into the teen young adult thing, so that’s all I’m gonna say.
